Ecstatic Dance Gisborne

Dance is the best way to release. 
Experience the ancient ritual of expression through movement and dance, with world wide music and rhythms.
Warm cacao will be served at the entrance. 

Come as you are, with comfortable clothes and a bottle of water. 

The event will start with cacao to ground and warm up, followed by a guidens into the music journey. 
The space is held mindfully to allow a deep dive into this exploring journey. 
This form of dance was practiced throughout human history and is known as a meditative activity that helps us cope with stress and stagnation, As well as connecting physically, spiritually, and emotionally to heal and celebrate.

We may not be dancers, but we love to dance :)

Guidelines

This is a sober event, 
Be present (no phones or cameras), 
Be Embodied (no verbal communication), 
Be consensual (make eye contact and confirm a “YES”. Respect others space), 
Be free to explore and experiment and come as you are.

This dance is a part of "Somatic & Ecstatic Dance Gisborne,"
with have a vision of offering our community a twice-a-month uplifting, conscious dance to reconnect, explore, sweat, and shed layers of our day-to-day.
