FIFA Tournament Rules & Format
DAY 1 (Thursday) Knockout Stage
- [Round of 32]: All 32 players compete in a single elimination round.
DAY 2 (Friday) Finals
- [Round of 16]: 16 winners from the Round of 32
- [Quarterfinals]: 8 winners from the Round of 16
- [Semi finals]: 4 winners from the Quarterfinals
- [Final]: 2 winners from the semi finals compete for first and second place
- [Third Place Match]: The 2 semi-final-losing players compete for third place
Match Settings
- Half Length: 6 minutes per half.
- Game Settings: Ensure all players agree on settings like game speed, difficulty level, and camera angles.
Knockout Stage Rules
- Match Setup: Single elimination format. - In case of a draw after regular time, proceed to penalties (not extra time)
- Match Schedule: Round of 32 - Round of 16 - Quarterfinals - Semifinals - Final and Third Place Match
General Rules
- Player Conduct: Players must respect each other and play fairly. - Any form of cheating, exploiting glitches, or unsportsmanlike behaviour results in disqualification.
- Disputes: Any disputes should be resolved by the tournament organizer. - Decisions made by the organizer are final.
- Punctuality: Organizers will wait for 5 minutes if a player does not show up at the scheduled time. If the player does not show up within this time, a walkover will be given to the opponent.
- Reporting Scores: After each match, players should report the scores to the tournament organizer.
