EDGY Conference 2026: Together We Thrive

Penny Lane Centers is proud to host the 16th Annual EDGY Conference (Embracing the Diversity of GLBTQ+ Youth and Families). This one-day event brings together professionals, educators, caregivers, youth, and allies to foster awareness, build cultural competency, and share emerging best practices in supporting LGBTQ+ youth and their families.

EDGY 2026 THEME: TOGETHER WE THRIVE- QUEER YOUTH, COMMUNITY, & CHANGE

The theme for 2026 — Together We Thrive: Queer Youth, Community, and Change — highlights the collective power of community to create meaningful transformation. Thriving isn’t just an individual journey—it’s a shared one. It happens when families, schools, providers, and communities unite to ensure that every queer young person is seen, supported, and celebrated.

As we navigate an era of renewed social and political challenges—ranging from anti-trans legislation and book bans to barriers in affirming healthcare—Together We Thrive reaffirms our shared responsibility to protect, uplift, and empower LGBTQ+ youth. This year’s theme is a reminder that thriving requires connection, compassion, and the courage to create change.

Through expert-led workshops, inspiring panels, and interactive sessions, EDGY 2026 will explore how we can come together to build a world where every queer youth has the tools, allies, and opportunities they need to flourish.  So join us June 15th at the California Endowment!
