Event description

The Illawarra Edible Garden Trail is back for its third year running! The Trail will take place on Saturday 22nd and Sunday 23rd of November between 10am-3pm between Helensburgh and Shell Cove. This event is in partnership with Food Fairness Illawarra and Healthy Cities Australia, and with thanks to sponsor Gilly’s Kitchen Garden

WHAT?

The Trail is a fun weekend of garden hopping across the Illawarra, from private sunny backyards to balconies and verges, native habitat corridors, community and school gardens and everything in between. Come and enjoy a weekend of connecting with your community, meeting like-minded people, and discovering ideas for your space, to put more backyard fruit and veg on your dinner plate!

WHERE?

A collection of edible gardens will be open from Otford to Shell Cove. Note: some gardens are open both days, whilst others will be open Saturday OR Sunday. Check out the Garden Profiles for 2025 at https://foodfairnessillawarra.org.au/join-the-illawarra-edible-garden-trail/?preview=true

TICKETS:

Tickets can only be purchased for both days, not individual days and will give you access to all gardens. If you would like to visit only one garden you can purchase an individual garden ticket for $5. Please click the link below to purchase your tickets via Humanitix.

Garden map and event information will be emailed to ticket holders one week prior to the event.

Funds raised from ticket sales covers the costs of delivering the event.
