    Event description

The Edible Gardens Festival 2023 program has been finalised and tickets are on sale to see a dozen of the most inspiring food gardens across the Margaret River region in Western Australia's South-West on May 20-21.

Tickets to the annual not-for-profit food growing and sustainability event are $23 plus booking fee to visit all 12 carefully curated gardens between Margaret River, Cowaramup and Witchcliffe. Visit them all or pick and choose if you’re limited for time. Kids 16 and under are free (but they still need a ticket).

Each garden gives you the opportunity to connect with the garden-gurus and tap into their immense bank of gardening knowledge. The program is carefully crafted to include a wide range of properties and gardening techniques to inspire you on your food growing journey. Many of the productive gardens are based on permaculture principles with practical elements like composting, worm farms, growing vegetables and fruit trees, netting an orchard, improving fertility, using animals, upcycling, incorporating natives and saving water.

Check out the full event program HERE for an overview of each garden, access & toilet information, and all the info you'll need to know on this great local festival. We recommend downloading a copy of the program to your phone to refer to during the weekend, as well as your ticket to show on entry to each garden.
