This is the first joint activity between Edinburgh Napier University and Be United. Part of the University's Race Equality Programme running over 2026-27, we're bringing race equality to life.
As the final part of our Black History Month activities, this night of celebration brings together emerging artists support by Be United and come of Edinburgh Napier's very own - you never know you might spot one of your lecturers on stage!!
Featured artists are:

Queen Vee is an Edinburgh-based artist of Jamaican and Irish heritage. Victoria blends warm, velvety vocals with influences of funk, soul and R&B. Emotional, fun and groove-filled, Victoria’s live performances take you on a journey, leaving you with the intimate feeling after a deep chat with good friends.

Boye' Henry is a guitarist and singer-songwriter based in Glasgow, UK, with African roots that run deep through every note he plays. His live performances are known for their emotional depth, crowd connection, and undeniable groove. Whether performing solo or backed by a full band, Boye' brings a quiet intensity that fills any room. His sound draws from a mix of Jazz, Soul, Blues, Pop, Funk and contemporary influences
