Educate, Advocate & Transform: Panel and workshop exploring RMIT's programs in prisons

Don’t miss this rare chance to hear from an inspiring panel sharing their experiences of RMIT’s Inside-Out classes—where university students and incarcerated individuals come together to learn, challenge perspectives, and build connections inside the prison walls. This groundbreaking program not only enriches education but also sparks powerful advocacy and research that push for real change.

In this session, you’ll hear directly from former incarcerated students alongside academics and community advocates, as they reflect on the program’s impact and explore bold ideas for creating a fairer, more humane criminal justice system. Together, we’ll uncover future opportunities for collaboration, research, and advocacy that can drive meaningful reform.
