Educating for a Changing Climate: Our Path Forward...
Description
As educators, how can we prepare ourselves—and the young people in our care—for a changing climate, while helping shape a safer, fairer future?
ABOUT THE EVENT
Join Teachers for Climate Australia and friends for a screening of the 50-minute UK film People’s Emergency Briefing, featuring Chris Packham, leading climate and nature scientists, a former general and Jennifer Saunders - all being pretty frank about where things are heading and what can be done about it.
The film will be followed by a panel conversation with 6 WA leaders from government, education, health, agriculture, finance and sports exploring what its message means for Western Australia and education.
