Event description

Aboriginal culture epitomises sustainability.

As the world's oldest continuous living culture, surviving for over 60,000 years on this continent's landscape has been possible through a deep connection to, and knowledge of, the natural world.

We are grateful many learnings have been generously shared and in this workshop we will provide you with curriculum aligned resources created and developed by First Nations educators, to include Aboriginal perspectives when  addressing sustainability in the classroom.

This workshop will not provide any guidance on Aboriginal culture and history, that advice is best sought from the traditional owners of the Country on which you are located.

Join us if you would like to learn more about what resources are available to help your students learn about Aboriginal perspectives in your classroom.

Should you have any questions regarding this event, please email emily.condon@sustainability.vic.gov.au
