EduFest WA Professional Learning Day Bunbury
Coming to Bunbury in 2024, the EduFest WA Professional Learning Day will empower local educators to create innovative learning experiences for their students that help them develop the work capabilities required to thrive in the future of work.Â
This one day professional learning event will step attendees through the design thinking process, as they hear from inspiring speakers, showcase their ideas, and build sustainable partnerships with industry and the broader community. Working collaboratively with colleagues across sectors, attendees will be working to redesign curriculum, design impactful initiatives for their community, and craft innovative learning experiences for their students.
The EduFest WA Professional Learning Day will see attendees exploring how they can help their students develop work capabilities such as creativity, problem solving, communication, leadership and digital confidence in innovative and engaging ways.

When Is It?
The EduFest WA Bunbury Professional Learning Day will be taking place on Friday November 8th 2024. The program will run from 9am - 3pm with attendees welcome to arrive from 8:30am.Â
What Can Our Attendees Expect?
Through workshops, seminars, and hands-on activities, attendees will have the chance to learn from education leaders and experts, as well as collaborate and network with colleagues from across sectors. This is a unique opportunity for educators to enhance their knowledge and understanding of intrapreneurship, innovation, design thinking, and entrepreneurship education, enabling them to teach 21st-century skills and work capabilities with confidence.

Who Is Running The Day?
The EduFest WA Professional Learning Day will be facilitated by Scott Millar from BOP Industries and Lisa Longman from the Bloom: Centre Of Youth Innovation. Both Scott and Lisa are innovative educators with over 10 years of experience each delivering innovative learning experiences in classrooms across the country. As seasoned facilitators, Scott and Lisa will be guiding attendees through a design thinking process to design initiatives for their community that build innovation skills and a culture of innovation.Â
