Edward River Community Connection Day

This event focuses on building resilience within our community to deal with the different types of challenges we may face in the future. Connecting community groups and key organisations e.g public, commercial & non-government organisations allows for a coordinated response to challenges our community faces and supports resilience within our community.

The aim of the event is to support and build this resilience within our community.

Other benefits from this event includes:

• Supporting collaboration between groups and organisations to maximise the benefits from the resources available including funding, labour & infrastructure etc.

• Building connections and relationships with members of our culturally diverse community.

• The opportunity for groups and organisations to highlight successes and share the challenges they face.

• Demonstrating that as a community of the Edward River Council region it is great place to live and do business.
