Eeek! Unpacking our brain when we are triggered with Sharon Honner
Event description
A St Andrew's Wellbeing Centre program for Members.
One of the keys to better health is to better understand our brain. As we communicate, our brains trigger a neurochemical cocktail that makes us feel either good or bad, and we translate that inner experience into words, sentences, and stories.
This workshop explores what is happening in our brain when we react in a conversation or to our environment and been created especially for the members of the St Andrew’s Wellbeing Centre.
This one in a series of three workshops Sharon is hosting through this program.
A Workshop Series for Growth and Wellbeing
We invite you to join us for a special three-part workshop series with Sharon, a warm and engaging facilitator who brings both expertise and lived experience to her work. As a breast cancer survivor and thriver, Sharon is passionate about creating safe and supportive spaces for connection and growth.
In this series at the Wellbeing Centre, she will gently guide members through "Eeek! Unpacking Our Brain When We Are Triggered," exploring how we respond to challenges; "How to Tell Your Story?" to help shape and share personal experiences with confidence; and "Realigning Joy – Cultivating Wellbeing and Resilience," focusing on finding balance and reconnecting with what brings us joy.
Members are welcome to attend one, two, or all three sessions—these can be taken together as a series or individually. Whether you join for a single workshop or the full series, this is an opportunity to pause, reflect, and nurture your wellbeing in a welcoming space.
