Transform Ideas Into Impact
EA Australia Connect is a mini-conference bringing together Australia's effective altruism community and newcomers interested in maximising their positive impact. Expect an afternoon of engaging talks, workshops, and networking, culminating in a keynote conversation with renowned philosopher Peter Singer. The sessions will be designed for those new to effective altruism and highly involved alike.

Volunteer & get your ticket refunded
We’re looking for about ten friendly volunteers to help on-the-day with set-up, ushering, merchandise sales and pack-down. In return you’ll:
- have your ticket price fully refunded
- get an exclusive chance to meet our speakers — including Peter Singer
- know you’ve directly helped the EA community run a smooth, high-impact event
Roles are simple, two-hour shifts, and you’ll still see the keynote.

Accessibility
Accessible entrances are available via the northeast garden pathway leading to the cloister with automated doors. Inside, inclined surfaces and lifts provide access to all levels. Accessible toilets, equipped with braille signage, are located on levels B1, GF, L1 and L2 in the West wing. Rooms feature height-adjustable tables and lecterns, and the Forum Theatre (Room 153) includes a designated wheelchair space. A hearing augmentation system is also available throughout the building.
