Climate for Change is a non-profit organisation that empowers Australians to have meaningful conversations about climate change to help combat eco-anxiety, avoidance, and apathy.
Most Australians already know about climate change, and don’t need more information about it. In fact, they feel so overwhelmed with scary information that they try to ignore it, because they feel confused and powerless to do anything about it. We offer training and resources so that everyday Australians can have more effective conversations about climate change, and take action.
In our Effective Conversations workshop, you’ll experience a taster of our Climate Conversations facilitator training. You’ll learn tips from one of our most experienced facilitators and Board Chair, Blanche, on how to talk about climate change, theories of social change, and have the chance to practise your conversation skills.
