Effective Climate Conversations

Climate conversations can feel challenging — but your voice can make a difference.

Effective Climate Conversations is an interactive workshop designed to build your confidence and skills to have productive climate conversations and help grow public support for climate action.

Through engaging activities, real-life examples and guided practice in small breakout groups, you’ll learn how to:

• 🗣️ Navigate tricky conversations — respond constructively to scepticism, apathy, doomism, denial and common climate questions.

• 🌱 Share your climate story — communicate what matters to you in an authentic way that connects with and inspires others.

• 💬 Break the climate silence — turn everyday conversations with friends, family, colleagues and your community into opportunities for meaningful change.

Come along to develop practical communication skills, build confidence and discover how everyday conversations can help create momentum for climate action.
