Synopsis:

We are experiencing global realities that for many people can contribute to increased stress, anxiety and uncertainty, and in Aotearoa this is also very much our reality in recent years.

How do we create more resilience in our communities, our organisations and our teams to meet these challenges, and where we see change and uncertainty as opportunities for growth and learning, rather than as a threat.

It is very human to feel overwhelmed by these changes that are beyond our control. But if we are able to embrace and respond to these challenges with resilience we are in a much stronger position to experience them as opportunities.

How do we create such resilience? We will look at the Black Ferns and other groups who have demonstrated resilience in the face of loss, disappointments and huge challenges. These become the seeds of resilience and are able to grow our teams if we know how to manage and lead development of a resilient organisation and team.

We will discuss our own experiences and learn about practical aspects as well as the spiritual and psychological perspectives which have been shared, both in local and global situations, by many including Margaret Wheatley, Dr Hinemoa Elder, Juliet Batten and John O’Donohue.

This workshop is ideally suited for: CEOs/Senior Managers and key members in the organisations.
