Effective onboarding will leave a lasting positive impression on your new hires and increase staff retention. In this class, you will gain strategies and learn processes that will improve the new hire experience. Companies that onboard effectively create a competitive advantage. Similarly, the right offboarding strategies will allow you to gather feedback on the employee experience, stay compliant with state guidelines and for those employees that you hate to lose, provide an open door for them to return in the future.

Led by Gina McDonald, from BDO, this three-hour session will highlight topics such as the importance of net asset composition, liquidity, and leverage. With 28 years of experience, including 17 years auditing nonprofits, quasi-public and governmental entities, she provides the framework required to stay up to date as the rules and regulations for accounting and reporting evolve.
