Whether you are an HR professional, manager or decision maker, there may be occasions where you need to conduct an investigation, brief an investigator, or make a disciplinary decision based on an investigation. 

This hands-on course will teach you the knowledge and skills you need to understand the elements of an effective, fair and compliant workplace investigation.


Course Details:

An intensive hands-on session, participants will be introduced to a challenging workplace matter that requires investigation. While learning the key principles of a workplace investigation, participants will be supported to apply their knowledge first hand to the case provided. 

  • Duration: 6.5 hours 
  • Materials provided: case study, workbook and electronic templates 
  • Investment: $1,500 (inc GST) per participant

      Will Snow, Director of Snow Legal, is an employment lawyer with a broad background in private practice across Australia (Blake Dawson Waldron, Minter Ellison and Finlaysons) and working in house at Qantas Airways and RailCorp NSW. He regularly undertakes investigations and also partners with external investigators. He guest starred in 7 episodes of All Saints, 3 of which he was in a coma.

      Susan Sadler, CEO of Red Wagon Workplace Solutions, is a human resources practitioner with specialist skills in employment relations. A licensed investigator with experience investigating a variety of workplace issues including bullying, sexual harassment, negligence and fraud, Susan is regarded for her ability to pick up on the nuances of a case, and applying a practical HR lens to observations and recommendations.
