EFT/Tapping First Aid Training for Rapid Trauma Relief & Resiliency

(Emotional Freedom Techniques)

A customised one-day training designed for healthcare professionals, educators and frontline workers. Learn practical techniques to manage your own stress, to better support yourself, whilst assisting those you serve.

What is EFT/Tapping?

Clinical EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques), also known as Tapping, is a simple yet powerful method for reducing traumatic stress, calming the body and improving mental clarity.

EFT/Tapping works by calming the brain’s emotional and survival centers, which are activated during stress responses. As the stress is reduced, the brain is able to shift resources back to areas responsible for clear thinking, decision-making, and emotional balance, promoting resilience and focus.

Supported by over 20 years of research, EFT has been shown to help with anxiety, depression, PTSD, and chronic stress. By combining elements of cognitive therapy with stimulation of acupressure points, it works directly with the body’s nervous system to bring relief quickly, even in high-stress situations.

Why This Training is Essential for Frontline Workers

When your role is on the frontline, burnout and vicarious trauma are real risks. Our EFT First Aid training empowers you with evidence-based techniques to manage your own stress effectively, so you can keep doing the work you’re passionate about without burning out.

Frontline work—whether in healthcare, education, or social services—exposes you to high levels of stress and trauma, significantly increasing the risk of burnout and vicarious trauma. While you're deeply committed to helping others, it’s essential to have tools that help you protect your own well-being, too.

EFT/Tapping equips you with practical techniques to better manage the emotional and physical stress responses that often arise in demanding workplace settings. By building resilience, you’ll not only sustain your energy but also enhance your ability to provide high-quality care and support in the long term.

What You’ll Gain:

  • Immediate Relief: Learn three of EFT techniques that can be used in moments of overwhelm which you can use anywhere whether you’re at work or at home.
  • Resilience: Build inner strength and reduce the impact of stress, so you can remain grounded even in the most challenging situations.
  • Confidence to Share: Once you experience the benefits yourself, you’ll be equipped to introduce these techniques to clients and colleagues, extending the impact of your learnings beyond the training.

The benefit of this training is two-fold. First, it equips you with tools for self-care and emotional regulation, ensuring that you have the resilience needed to continue thriving in your role. Second, once you have experienced the relief and clarity that EFT provides, you can confidently share these techniques with clients or colleagues, helping to build a ripple effect of healing and support in your community.

What to Expect from the Training

Our EFT/Tapping First Aid program is delivered in five modules, making it easy to understand and apply:

  1. Understanding Trauma: What happens in the brain and body when we experience trauma.
  2. The Science of EFT: How tapping on specific points can help calm the body and restore balance.
  3. Practical Skills for Immediate Relief: Learn three EFT/Tapping protocols you can use right away.
  4. Self-Care and Resilience: Techniques to help you recharge, keep a healthy work-life balance and stay effective in your role.
  5. Sharing EFT with Others: How to introduce tapping to clients and integrate it into your practice.

Do you offer any Scholarships for this training?
