As El Rey Miel, musical duo Will Tait and Kate Constance create compelling, immersive soundscapes that blend polyrhythmic piano and poetic storytelling with a deep reverence for the living universe. Sea the Sky is a suite of such adventures that follows a line of curiosity and awe from the Big Bang, via the formation of the oceans, through to the invisible world of potential particles that power our constant evolution.
The Quad Club launch on Saturday 5th July will be a phantasmagorical smorgasbord of sonic delights, featuring the Sea the Sky suite as the centrepiece of a musical degustation, complemented by quirky, soulful pieces from Will & Kate’s kaleidoscopic repertoire. Bringing extra storytelling magic to the mix will be vocal marvel Eddie Fitzpatrick and provocative poet Phoebe Bond. All of this magnificence will be centred around the Quad Club’s resplendent white grand piano!
The night will finish off in Quad Club's seductive front bar with deeply danceable tunes from our special guest DJ (to be announced). This rich evening of entertainment will stir your spirit, tickle your neurons and open your heart. Don’t miss it!
