ARTIST INFO

Kacie Hill is a San Francisco based indie-folk/rock singer-songwriter whose music attempts to bring meaning to the mundane through conversational yet poignant lyricism, and draws similarities to some of her favorites artists, such as Joni Mitchell and Phoebe Bridgers. Kacie’s upcoming single California Blue will be released late summer, and her current music can be found on Instagram and Spotify

____

Bay Area-born and Melbourne-based artist, El Tee has quickly positioned herself as much more than just an honest and vulnerable songwriter and has been compared to the likes of Angel Olsen and Sharon Van Etten. She demands attention as she marries her dark-mood lyrics with a blanket of sonic warmth and intimacy – an unassuming pair that sits comfortably between the ebbs and flows of energy in her songs.

El Tee was shortlisted for the Music Victoria Award for Best Rock Act 2021 following the release of her debut album 'Everything Is Fine' in 2020, which received critical acclaim. The album saw a sold out launch in Melbourne, Australia, topped Australian community radio charts, and was listed on the NME top 10 Album Picks.

Having traveled the world performing both solo and with her band, Mimi Gilbert has played nation-wide in the US, and toured throughout Europe, Australia and New Zealand.

Mimi will be embarking on her first USA tour since 2019 and is excited to play stripped back arrangements of songs of their latest release ‘Grew Inside the Water,’ joined by longtime bandmate Taylor Moses on baritone and vocals.

Mimi was born and raised in California, where she first began singing and performing in public. At the age of 15, Mimi bought her first battery-powered amp and took to the streets of California cities. There, she learnt the art of story-telling, the impact of vulnerability, and the power of her voice.

Gilbert has opened for Julia Jacklin in Melbourne, Angie McMahon in LA, Lydia Cole and Nadia Reid in New Zealand to name a few.

During her years on the road, Gilbert has worked quietly, honing her craft and recording songs. She is now based between Melbourne, Australia and Los Angeles.

______

Mimi Gilbert speaks of Reddenhollow (Taylor Moses) - "Reddenhollow's songs have a way of wrapping around one’s life. Truly listening to them feels like stepping into a river. The separation between Taylor Moses’s melody, story and my own heart disappears and before I can articulate or understand it, the songs speak my own story - a witness to my secret grief and to my rising dreams. I would like to turn my body into smoke, mist, rain, light and let these songs take me somewhere sacred.

The unique timbre, grit and depth to Taylor’s voice sounds something ancient. In this collection of songs, Taylor takes us on one journey. The soft moments are so beautifully fragile that they allow me to walk through them while wounded, and suddenly throughout, Taylor’s voice takes us and the loving resolve and almost righteous anger become enough to pull us out of our suffering and onto ever present ground.”
