WELCOME TO ELECTRA BA5 EVENT 

We are pleased to welcome Phil Gorman, General Manager of Brewtown, to speak at our July BA5 event. 

Phil is the General Manager for Brewtown, located in Upper Hutt. Brewtown is situated within the South Pacific Industrial Park owned by developer Malcolm Gillies, who bought the 36,000 square metre site in 2008, two years after the closure of South Pacific Tyres.

It is now home to Wellington’s only craft beer village with a number of great craft breweries and a boutique distillery.

Brewtown is also a family favourite with a range of activities available; carting, ice skating, escape rooms, live entertainment, restaurants, farmers markets and accommodation.
 
Phil will share the story behind Brewtown, from idea to design, construction, and of course its impact on the Upper Hutt Community from an economic and social perspective.
