Event description

The Melville City Climate Action Network (MCCAN) is excited to announce the launch of our Electrification EXPO, aimed at informing and encouraging households and businesses in the City of Melville to electrify everything.  Electrifying saves money (average WA home $3,500 including installation), reduces air pollution in the home, improves energy efficiency and reduces our carbon emissions. Keynote Speaker is Climate Scientist Professor Jatin Kala, from Murdoch University. Details of other speakers, demonstrations, information stalls and more are listed in the Program below. Come and join us on Saturday 17th May, 1:00pm to 5:00pm at the EcoHub (previously Piney Lakes Education Centre), 555 Leach Highway, Winthrop.  $5 for Adults and Free for Children. There will be photographs and video recording of adults on the day. Please let one of our volunteers know if you do NOT give permission.
