Inspired by Amy Perejuan-Capone's installation of electroformed bees Vdes in 2025's Melville Contemporary, this workshop will be a day of observing the delicate details of small forms and preserving them in precious metals. In this hands-on workshop you will learn how to transform your own small objects—from organic materials like leaves or insects to found items or assemblages—into miniature metal-plated sculptures. Amy will guide you through the entire process, including preparing your pieces, the electro-plating process, patinas, and finishing techniques.
