Event description

Join us for the second workshop in our transformative five-part series on Cultural Intelligence Education. This two-hour professional development session, led by skilled First Nations facilitator Tammy, will guide you through the next steps in building inclusive, culturally aware environments.

Session Focus: Indigenous Ways

Walk the talk. Lead with respect. Learn from Indigenous wisdom.

This workshop series supports leaders and teams to build deeper cultural understanding — especially of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander ways of being, thinking, and doing — and apply that understanding in how they lead, relate, and create change.

✔ Learn how Indigenous worldviews shape relationships, leadership, and belonging

✔ Understand the difference between cultural awareness, safety, and intelligence

✔ Gain practical tools to create culturally safe and inclusive environments

✔ Reflect on your role in allyship, influence, and change

Whether you’re new to this journey or have been walking it for some time, this is a chance to slow down, listen deeply, and lead with care.

Come to one session or join the full 5-part series.

Each participant will receive a PDF workbook plus an Indigenous Allyship and Psychological Safety Poster which will be shipped to you.

Why Attend?

  • Challenge and assess your own cultural intelligence.

  • Gain new perspectives on your environment.

  • Engage in active learning and discussions guided by a First Nations lens.

About the facilitator:

Tammy Baart

As a proud Boorooberongal Dharug woman I educate, advocate for and enable all individuals to be empowered to exceed their own expectations. Over two decades of executive educational leadership experience has led to an ignited passion and drive to find the gaps in systems so all individuals are provided with the access and opportunity to succeed. Through honouring my culture to decolonise ways of being, doing and knowing, I work to create human-centred and sustainable solutions that leave a legacy everyone can be proud of.

Working across various industries, I bring people together through connection, collaboration and capitalising upon collective wisdom to create transformative workplace cultures through custom learning, development and training needs and building Cultural Intelligence.

“Tammy is a bold and courageous Indigenous woman who has the foresight and vision to push herself and in turn those she works with to greater heights. Understanding the bigger picture while knowing the little things matter is her superpower. The compassion and love she puts into the work she does with young people is contagious and endless.”

Join us for an engaging Cultural Intelligence workshop where you’ll learn to unpack worldviews and understand Indigenous Ways of Being, Thinking, and Doing.

Riley Callie Resources is dedicated to amplifying First Nations voices in the education space and is proud to partner with Blak Ignited to bring you this workshop. Participants will also receive a special discount code for our online shop of Indigenous educational resources.
