Event description

Eleesa, Louise and Freya (ELF) formed a successful acappella group in 2002 in Sydney, with songs featuring on some local releases.

In 2004, guitarist, pianist and composer Colin Morgan Campbell arrived.

His sensitive and inspired accompaniment was just what ELF needed.

ELF launched their debut album ‘Everything That Is’ in June 2006, featuring original songs and covers from Lou Reed and Joni Mitchell.

Guest musicians added spice to the album with tabla, congas, bass, violin and keyboards.

Although we are now spread between the Illawarra, Sydney and the Blue Mountains, we still perform occasionally and are working on new

material.

We play in a melodic folky style. As well as our originals we pay homage to a wide range of influences with some choice covers. The core sound of the group is based around the wonderful harmonies of the three girls’ voices with its own unique flavour.

ELF will be performing one set, along with some tunes and songs from the Peppercorns (Lara Norman and Craig Sinclair). https://www.craigsinclair.com.au/peppercorns

Friday September 5th: 7pm (doors), 7:30pm music - 10pm.

Where: 23 Lookout Street, Blackheath
