Travel instructions

Free street parking is available nearby on 59th Street, or a bit further away on Woodlawn Ave, the Midway Plaisance, and 55th Street. Paid street parking is available on Ellis Avenue.

Entry instructions

Bond Chapel is located inside the University of Chicago's main quad and is accessible via sidewalk ramp. Enter from Ellis Avenue or 59th Street.

After entry instructions

The chapel is a large, unique structure in the southwest section of the main quadrangle. A covered breezeway leads to the entrances, with three steps on the side approached from the northwest, and a ramp on the other side approached from the southeast.

Hazards

Flagstone pathways lead to the chapel, and it must be approached from the south or east to avoid stairs.

Toilet location

There are no toilets in the chapel, but restrooms are available in Swift Hall next door, through the covered breezeway. Event staff and signage will be available to provide directions and assistance.

Accessible parking

The closest accessible free parking options are near the intersection of 59th Street and Ellis Avenue.

Seating

This is a seated concert. Seats are padded.

Volume

Volume levels will be moderately high, with free earplugs available near the doors.
