Songwriting is a powerful medium, one of immense vulnerability and skill. It is the love of this craft that will be celebrated as we gather to watch Ella Minnow, Alicia Varas and Rose Cole at Goodspace in Chippendale.

Ella Minnow is a singer-songwriter known for her love of romantic comedy soundtracks, and anything that allows one to get lost in the beauty of a created world. She is a story teller and a lover of tragic romance, and her writing emulates a soft spoken and candid poetry.

Alicia Varas is an Australian singer-songwriter of Chilean and Italian heritage, born and raised in Western Sydney. Drawing inspiration from a broad spectrum of musical influences, she creates a genre-blurring sound defined by soulful vocals, immersive production and honest songwriting. Living with the lifelong effects of Oesophageal Atresia and Tracheo-Oesophageal Fistula (OA/TOF) has shaped her resilience and perspective, quietly informing the authenticity behind her music.  

Rose Cole’s unfiltered approach to lyricism is what makes her both a reliable and

unpredictable wordsmith, but she wouldn’t dream of skimping you out on a big hook you

can sing-along to - or violently scream along with. Rose doesn’t want to experience her

most outrageous thoughts and views about the world alone, so, she’s made a habit out

of translating these feelings into contagious melodies and genre-blurring sonic

playgrounds to share with people who just might feel the same. She kicked off 2026

with the release of her anthemic, no-man spared experimental alt-indie-pop lead single,

‘Kill That Liar’, and will celebrate its follow-up releases opening for Montaigne on their

Glorious Heights 10th Anniversary Tour in Wollongong.
