Ellipse present The Crystal Teardrop

Inspired by a mutual passion for the sights, sounds and creative experimentation of the late 1960s, the band’s music demonstrates an innate affection for classic artists

such as The Beatles and The Kinks alongside West Coast favourites including The Great Society, Love and The Byrds and Paisley Underground favourites The Bangles and The Pandoras as well as contemporary bands like The Lemon Twigs and Temples.

The five-piece, based in the Midlands UK, features Alexandra Rose and Stuart Gray who both regularly DJ vinyl collections sourced from across the globe and host club

nights including London’s Reverberation, Liverpool’s Compact Pussycat Club and Leicester’s Biff Bang Pow; Leon Jones whose previous kaleidoscopic exploits with Alfa 9 add an extra dimension to the band dynamic; performance artist and magician Ed Quigley and multi-instrumentalist Huw Woodward.
