Elly Hoyt will be joined by Meanjin's finest to present her sophomore EP, "Searching for Stillness," under the pseudonym My Nightingale.
This indie-folk offering showcases Hoyt's exceptional talent and creativity, exploring themes of love, childhood and travel.

Elly Hoyt transmutes her soulful jazz roots to indie-folk to create My Nightingale. A sound which was described by the Sunshine Coast Ukulele Festival as, "absolutely exquisite... modern soul-funk, a bit folky, a bit Celtic, with phenomenal voices, harmonies and dry humour!"
My Nightingale has played Queensland Music Festival's "Immersion" series, Palm Creek Folk Festival, Sunshine Coast Ukulele Festival, National Live Music Awards, the Brisbane City Hall Concert Series, City Sounds Concerts and many more.
