ELT Hackathon - Taking Learning Off the Page

There are lots of great coursebooks out there but here’s the reality: they weren’t written with your students in mind. We know every classroom is unique, and students are more engaged when learning is personalised, contextualised, and tailored to meet their needs.

But how can we take learning off the page without spending hours planning lessons?

In this Hackathon, we'll share some of our favourite classic low tech adaptations and a few high tech newbies.

Then you'll work in breakout groups to share your own ideas and adapt a coursebook lesson to increase learner engagement. 

All levels of teaching experience is welcome - all ideas are appreciated.
