ELT Hackathon - Teaching Mixed-Level Classes
Event description
Have you ever taught a class where every student had exactly the same level of English and the same motivation, readiness and capacity to learn?
No? Neither have we. That's because they don't exist.
In this Hackathon we'll look at how to differentiate learning through:
content
process
product
And as usual, you'll have the chance to work with teachers from around the world in breakout groups to share ideas and collaboratively plan activities.
While the focus of this Hackathon will be differentiating for learners with different language levels, the strategies covered can be applied to all teaching contexts and subjects.
Active participation is a must in this practical workshop. Participants will receive a certificate, and earn 3 English Australia CPD points.
This is an inclusive event open to ELT teachers of all levels of experience and language backgrounds. All ideas are welcome and celebrated.
This event is help online on Wednesday 24th September at 2:30pm AWST (Perth, Australia). You can check the time in your timezone here:https://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/converter.html?iso=20250924T063000&p1=196
