Eltham has a vibrant Historical Association with a fantastic local heritage collection. Visit this town of firsts, see Mike Coil’s fabulous eclectic collection in Mike’s Museum, visit its stunning historic town hall, and take in vibrant heritage streetscapes.
Meet at Eltham & Districts Historical Society, 71 Bridge Street, at 10:30am.
Alternatively, a bus will depart Ngāmotu/New Plymouth at 9:30am sharp from outside Puke Ariki Library in Ariki Street. This bus will take passengers to Eltham Historical Society and Mike's Museum events as well as the Hāwera Heritage events later in the day. This bus will return to New Plymouth late-afternoon/early evening following the conclusion of events in Hāwera.
