Born into a musical family and raised in Queensland, Greg's journey began early. With both parents as schoolteachers and multi-instrumentalists, he was surrounded by music from day one. He went on to graduate from the Queensland Conservatorium of Music in 1989 as a classically trained pianist, eventually merging his deep musical foundation with a lifelong admiration for the music of Elton John and lyricist Bernie Taupin.

“The music of Elton and Bernie has been a constant companion throughout my life,” Greg reflects. “It’s like growing up with a best friend. Performing these songs is an honour—and when I see how deeply they resonate with audiences, I know I’m doing something truly special.”
