Event description

Emanuel P&F Autumn Family Camp will be held over 2 nights from Friday 15 March 2024 - Sunday 17 March 2024.

This spectacular campsite is nestled amongst dramatic escarpments and stunning native Australian bushland, on the banks of the beautiful Hawkesbury River and only just over an hours drive from school.

With a dedicated area for our school group, this campsite provides an experience which captures the simple pleasures of camping close to nature while having the comforts of amenities such as hot showers, BBQs, an undercover camp kitchen, a kiosk and a swimming pool. You can enjoy fishing,  kayaking, swimming, bushwalking, wildlife spotting or just relaxing around the open fire with friends and family.

Camping Essentials Guide

We have created a comprehensive Camping Essentials Guide covering information on the campsite, preparing to camp and what to bring. It will be emailed on completion of this booking. In the meantime, we have summarized some things you may want to know before booking the weekend.

Tickets

Prices* are $50, per adult, $30 per child (5-17) and children under 5 are free. Your tickets are inclusive of campsite fees for 2 nights, a challah and grape juice for each family and a small P&F fee. *Tickets incur a small Humanitix booking

Register your child for early leave

So you can start your camping weekend early, you can request to collect your child at 1.20 pm (during lunch). Please note, this is subject to registering your child with the school before Friday 8 March 2024. Details are provided at the time of booking.

Can I bring my other kids that are not at the school?

Yes, if you have a child at Emanuel school, you are encouraged to bring all your children on the camping trip, regardless of age or what school they attend.

What equipment do I need to bring?

No equipment is provided so you will need to bring your own gear. We recommend you bring your own tent, ground mats, camping mattresses, sleeping bags and camping chairs for your own family. Beyond that, a lot of equipment can be shared so we encourage you to team up with other families for items such as gazebo shelters, tables, cooking stoves etc. The following are major stockists of camping gear and their prices are very reasonable.

For the more costly equipment, shop around online before buying as you may find some good deals:
Anaconda
Big W and BCF.

Campers are also welcome to bring camping trailers or camper vans.

Is there the option of Glamping?

For those looking for a more luxurious camping option, you can book a range of glamping experiences, from basic to delux. Your Glamping tent will be set up ready for your arrival with furniture and accessories, by 2.00pm. Glamping tents can only be booked, once you have you have purchased your Emanuel Family Camping tickets and are booked directly with the supplier. More information can be found in the Camping Essentials Guide.  You must have your camping tickets booked and paid for first, then you can make arrangements directly with the glamping supplier.

Terms & Conditions

To attend the camp, you will need to agree to the campsite's terms and conditions on behalf of all your group members (including children who are not Emanuel students).
