Event description

Intelligent Bushfire Sprinkler Automation

See’s Flame, Starts Pump

Flame detection: A world first! The Embarr Argus features cutting-edge Intelligent flame detection, able to identify small flames created from embers and also approaching fire fronts at distances exceeding 250 meters.

Automation: Argus delivers a precise and measured response, assessing threat levels 24/7 - in real time - initiating & controlling bushfire sprinkler suppression systems.

Stand-alone: Fully autonomous and independent of potentially compromised energy networks, mobile cellular or satellite networks and designed for zero human intervention.

Not only does it start the pump, it also turns it off when the threat has abated

Saving water: Our automation employs water saving technology which optimises and extends available water resources. It only turns on when it is needed, low threat, and it turns off when the area is sufficiently wet, so water is not being unnecessarily wasted. If there is a high threat the system will stay on until the threat abates. It will then revert to low-threat turning on-and-off as required also extending your fuel.

Live Bushfire tested: Embarr Argus has already helped protect properties. There are over 100 systems installed across 5 states that have been proven to work actively helping save multiple properties. It saved the Four Winds Music Festival Centre in Bermagui NSW and is currently being installed on the new Canberra Fire Station.

Bushfires, why be there?

Who is going to start the pump? In fact, you don’t have to be there, and what if you can’t be there? It does it all automatically, so it is preferable you or your family are not there.

Leave early: The Argus is designed to enable residents and property owners to activate their bushfire plans, leave early and help safeguard their homes and lives.

Retrofits into existing sprinkler systems

The system can be retrofitted to most existing bushfire sprinkler systems and pumps, and is designed to operate independently, even when electricity is turned off, and mobile communications fail. Currently installed and operating in residential, commercial, government, animal rescue and agricultural industries.

We have thought of everything!

BBQ mode, test mode, winter mode. We have thought of everything. The Argus sensor is so sensitive grinding, welding or even a family BBQ can set it off. Simply push the BBQ button at the control box and it will temporarily pause the search algorithm, so you don’t ruin Christmas lunch.

Meet the inventor; we are coming to WA

Come for a demonstration and meet the innovator Graham Pole to discover how we are redefining standards & best practice. Graham is a volunteer firefighter with a deep understanding of the action and impact of bushfires learnt through decades of firefighting.

90% of properties lost in a bushfire happen from either ember attack in the 30 minutes before a front arrives, or the 12 hours after it has passed from spot fires.
