Embedding Client Experience in Family Violence Service Design and Delivery - Practitioner Workshops
Event description
The Embedding Lived Experience project seeks to build a lived experience and practice-informed evidence base about how to meaningfully and safely engage victim-survivor voices, perspectives and experiences to inform family violence service design and delivery.
In the first phase of this project, we held a series of participatory action workshops with victim-survivors to co-design a client feedback framework. In this next phase, we are conducting workshops with practitioners and service providers to ensure that framework is informed by people who work in the Victorian family violence service system and capture systems-level insights.
In the workshops, we will ask questions about your professional views on:
● How family violence support services could get feedback from clients to help improve their work.
● Receiving and responding to client feedback.
● What infrastructure is needed to support services to seek feedback from clients.
For more information on the project and what you will be asked to do, please read the explanatory statement by clicking here.
If you would like to assist us in shaping this resource, two 90 minute online workshops will be held on:
- 10.30am on Thursday 1 August 2024
- 12.30pm on Wednesday 7 August 2024
Please register for one workshop on the following page. We will email you a draft framework ahead of the session along with the Zoom details.
