An evidence based professional development session, covering the importance of promoting gender equality and respect in the early years.
Learn more about the role language, behaviours and actions have in forming early beliefs around gender and individual preference. The session will shine a light on the type of things that are modelled to children in the first five years of life.
Be guided on purposeful ways to embed gender quality in everyday practice.
This training is designed to be implemented in early years settings, with a focus on playgroup. The nature of playgroup means that the insights are shared further with parents, carers and any community members present.
Participants will be given take home resources and opportunities to engage and ask questions to deepen understanding.

The program, called All Come Out to Play, tackles topics in an age appropriate, sensitive manner- it is also super fun, celebrating the differences of us all- and how that is a good thing! The program's aim is to engage families in the early years through storytelling and musical play, while also addressing the importance of early awareness and knowledge.

Practical tips and expertise to support embedding gender equality through play, plus free resources are provided to all participants.
- Do I receive physical resources as well as digital ones?
The first 200 bookings receive both the digital All Come Out to Play resources and a hard copy pack. This includes a book, posters and worksheets.
- Do you offer group booking prices?

- Where do I find the Zoom link for the online session?
You will receive it in your booking confirmation email, and again as a reminder one week before the session.

Yes, a confirmation email is sent when you book, followed by a reminder email one week beforehand.

The All Come Out to Play! live show is an interactive, 40-minute session for children and their parents/carers that models respectful relationships and equality through song, dance, humour, games and play.
- Who is the live 'All Come Out to Play' show suitable for?
Children and their parents/carers — it's designed to be inclusive and works well for children still learning English. Playgroup settings are one of the best places to experience the show!
