Embedding Learning Systems in Social Services: Case Study of South Australia's Child and Family Support System
Description
This webinar features a new case study led by the Centre for Policy Development (CPD) with The Front Project that explores how South Australia’s Child and Family Support System (CFSS) has embedded shared, continuous learning across an entire service system.
The CFSS has created a system that continuously improves practice and strengthens relationships across government and non-government partners by combining data, lived experience and practice wisdom to inform practice and decision making - while also delivering measurable improvements in child safety and family wellbeing.
Join sector and government leaders to hear how this reform has been implemented and what it means for the future of social services across Australia.
Participants will gain practical insights into:
What “shared, continuous learning” looks like at scale
How South Australia built learning into commissioning, contracting and practice, embedding:
Lived experience, First Nations knowledge and practitioner wisdom in system design
Relational contracting to strengthen quality, trust and accountability
Key lessons for other social service systems and jurisdictions
The difference it made for children and families
Live webinar will include live captions and Q&A. Recording, slides and case study will be provided.
