Join us for a family-friendly afternoon of warmth and wonder as we celebrate Winter Solstice and Matariki — honouring the turning of the seasons, the return of the light, and the spirit of renewal.

🌿 What’s happening:

arriving from 1pm

2 pm. Lantern making for Tamariki & adults

3 pm Opening welcome ceremony Dances of Universal Peace – 5 simple, heart-opening songs and dances from global traditions

4.30 pm Potluck Feast followed by bonfire – please bring a dish to share

5.30 pm A Lantern Walk to honour Matariki and the ancestors

Bring your whole whānau, a dish to share and something warm to wear.
