With all that’s going on in the world right now it’s essential we tend to our own wellbeing. And as we roll on into the end of the year and holiday season with all the business and stress it can bring, it's even more important we support ourselves and our bodies.
Rest & Recharge is a gentle movement and mindfulness practice where you can come as you are to rest, reconnect with yourself and tend to your nervous system. It's a cost free community practice.
What to expect:
We'll explore gentle somatic and yoga based movement combined with some breathing and mindfulness practices. There will be a good amount of restorative rest at the end of each session so you go into your evening calm and ready for a deep sleep.

You don't need any previous yoga or meditation experience, and we'll be in a community friendly space so come exactly as you are.
What to bring:
Yoga mats, limited bolsters (cushions) and blankets are provided however if you prefer to use your own mat or would like to bring an extra bolster or cushion please feel free to bring it along.
What to wear:
Wear whatever you feel comfortable in that allows you to bend and move freely. No lycra or 'exercise' clothing necessary!
Accessibility:
This practice is trauma-informed and each session will have multiple options and adaptations to help you create your most supportive practice. However the studio has multiple sets of stairs and unfortunately no lift for wheelchair access.
