EMBRACE - cultivating our capacity to respond powerfully - no matter what shows up in our lives - Using the learnable skills of Nonviolent Communication with Certified trainer Kate Raffin

2 EVENTS:

  • EMBRACE 1. NVC INTRO/ REFRESHER  - Sat 19th + Sun 20th July 2025,   9.30 am - 5.30pm both days.
  • EMBRACE 2.  NVC PRACTICE WEEKEND - Sat 26th + Sun 27th July 2025,  9.30 am - 5.30pm both days. Embrace 2. (pre-requisite of EMBRACE 1. or equivalent)
In these dynamic events we will use real life examples to explore how we can:
  • Increase our capacity to engage effectively with others even in challenging situations + long-term dynamics
  • Cut the exhausting guesswork by attending to what will really make a difference
  • Transform patterns of separation, scarcity and powerlessness into TOGETHERNESS, CHOICE + FLOW
  • Stay open, curious and effective when tension arises
  • Be in the world with nothing to hide
  • Dare to dream and be VISION driven - the most powerful quality of all nonviolent people-led living and change
  • Co-create practices that support us to celebrate, mourn and learn from everything that happens as a way to maintain healthy digestion of all that happens in our lives
  • Create the support we need to sustain ourselves while attending to what truly matters
  • Contribute to others well-being while simultaneously attending to ours
  • Maximise readiness to respond to all of life - no matter how it shows up
  • Become a valuable resource for our important relationships - by choice
'It's invaluable in enriching relationship.' - Janine Brissett
'This workshop has left a deep impression on me and has inspired a lot of change in my communication' - Caitlin Wood 2024
'For the last 2 days I have been really attuned to my needs, and the difference is not subtle. Stressful times like getting the kids to bed, are calm and easily negotiated. While I know the problems will not disappear, I am hopeful that this is the start of a new journey for me.' - anon

'Get very clear about the kind of world we would like and then start living that way' - Marshall Rosenberg, founder of NVC

'NVC is interested in learning that is motivated by reverence for life, by a desire to learn skills, to contribute better to our own well-being and the well-being of others.' - Marshall Rosenberg, founder of NVC
