Embracing Climate Grief: A Step Towards Positive Action

Event description

"To speak of sorrow
works upon it
moves it from its
crouched place barring
the way to and from the soul’s hall."
-Denise Levertov

These days experiencing awe and wonder with our earth is often coupled with an experience of grief. Grief for what we have lost and are losing because of our changing climate.

Grief is a tricky emotion, one that many of us may shy away from, trying to ignore. We can feel fearful when looking it in the eye. Why on earth would we want to spend time with such a challenging emotion?

As we move with awareness into what this moment in time is calling us to be and do, it is almost impossible not to come face to face with grief.

So how do we acknowledge the depth of our emotion around the loss? The loss of species, habitats, ecosystems and the beauty of this place we call home without being stuck in the enormity of it all?

How do we find the value in grief and discover the movement and opportunity in opening to sadness and loss?

This Masterclass will explore how to bring grieving into the heart of our work so that we can wholeheartedly meet and respond to the challenges of our times.

Led by Eco-Psychotherapist and Coach, Sarah Pant, you will discover:

  • Meaningful ways to be with; and to speak of sorrow
  • The importance of connecting with grief through ritual
  • Love and Hope as unexpected dance partners to grief
  • How holding space for our grief supports us to make positive impact

Join Founding Director of Being Found, Sarah Pant and Small Giants Academy as together we explore how being with sorrow clears the way to connection, love, renewal and action for the road ahead.

We look forward to welcoming you.
