Embracing diversity in early childhood education: Many lenses, one world

Whilst cultural diversity brings benefits for society, we often shy away from truly connecting with people from cultural and language groups different to our own. Working in ECE settings brings with it the responsibility and opportunity to welcome all children and families. This session will encourage you to reflect on your practice with culturally and linguistically diverse children and families. You will learn practical strategies that promote curiosity, respect and honour difference of children, families and the communities in which you live.
