This training is ideal for professionals seeking to enhance their therapeutic skills and gain certification in EMDR. Our experienced trainers will guide you through each step, ensuring you receive the best possible education and support.
Training eligibility: EMDR training can be undertaken by:
psychiatrists and psychiatric registrars with at least 2 years experience in mental health field, registered with AHPRA
General practitioners with additional training in psychological medicine, registered with AHPRA
Mental Health nurses, registered with AHPRA
Psychologists, registered with AHPRA or New Zealand Psychology Board
Occupational Therapists with 2 additional post graduate year's experience working in mental health and specialist training in mental health
Social Workers, registered as Mental Health SW with AASW, alternatively minimum 2 years experience in counselling role or currently employed in specialist counselling service
Counsellors and Psychotherapists, registered with PACFA as a Clinical Member/Accredited Mental Health Practitioner or with ACA as Level 3 or 4 member
Creative Arts therapists required to be senior members of ANZACTA and completed an approved mental health degree.
