Emergency Medicine ECHO - Series 3
Event description
This ECHO program aims to create a community of practice for shared learning and professional support in emergency care.
The program consists of five sessions, delivered monthly on Thursdays from 7:00 – 8:00pm via Zoom:
Meeting 1 (July 31): Assessment and Management of Chest Injuries
Meeting 2 (August 28): Paediatric and Neonatal Respiratory Emergencies
Meeting 3 (September 25): Consent and Capacity in Emergency Situations
Meeting 4 (October 30): Dental Emergencies
Meeting 5 (November 27): ENT Emergencies
Each online session provides an opportunity for participants to learn best-practice emergency medicine care from a panel of expert clinicians, and to engage in debriefing discussions of real cases.

Case Submissions Welcome
Clinicians and teams are invited to submit cases for clinical debriefing. These discussions are designed to promote learning, encourage reflection, and identify opportunities to improve care processes, enhance patient experiences, and reduce the risk of future adverse outcomes.
This program is FREE and open to all healthcare professionals working in emergency care settings across South Australia.
SAPMEA has received funding from the Australian Government Department of Health and support from ACEM, the Australasian College for Emergency Medicine, Australia's peak body for emergency medicine, to run an EMET Program.
