Join Associate Professor Brad Clarke, Chief Investigator at the Australian Laboratory for Emerging Contaminants (ALEC), to explore how emerging contaminants in recycled water are managed and monitored. Brad is an international leader in environmental science, with expertise in per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS), microplastics, flame retardants, and advanced analytical techniques.

This Water Think Tank session will focus on:

  • Key risks when using recycled water for environmental purposes

  • What water authorities should be monitoring to reduce long-term environmental impacts

Brad has authored more than 75 peer-reviewed publications, attracting over 6,500 citations, and has worked with government, industry, and research partners in Australia and internationally.
