Thu, 12 Jun, 6:30pm - 8pm AWST

Event description

Join us for a special evening with Emily Tsokos Purtill as she shares her debut novel, Matia, a powerful story about family, migration, and the memories we carry through food and culture.

Spanning 125 years and three continents, Matia follows four generations of one family and their journey across the world.

Emily will be in conversation with writer and critic Nadia Heisler, whose own global background brings a fresh lens to this richly layered narrative, as they talk about identity, heritage, and storytelling.

After the talk, enjoy a taste of traditional Greek delicacies inspired by the book.
