Travel instructions

Parking is difficult in Capitol Hill, but there are several bus lines and the Link train runs quite close to 12th Avenue Arts. We find the best parking by Cal Anderson Park, but we recommend arriving early due to this difficulty.

Entry instructions

Enter from 12th Avenue on the sidewalk, under the large lit sign with the name of the building. Enter through the glass doors flanking the large glass wall at the center of the building. Both doors will be unlocked and will lead directly into the lobby after a glass vestibule.

After entry instructions

Straight ahead is the lobby which has a large empty area ahead and a stairway on the right. Our show will have a ticket desk directly in front on the right near the back wall. Walk toward that wooden ticket booth. A house manager will be there to check in your ticket if it's soon to the show time. If there's time to wait, there are benches, water fountains, and bathrooms. Usually there is also a bar with alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages for sale.

Hazards

This building is entirely wheelchair accessible and the doors remain unlocked and supervised by a staff members. There is an elevator, but our show is on the ground floor. The lobby space is well lit. In the theater there are ground level seats as well as seats that need stairs to access.

Toilet location

Bathrooms are behind the ticket booth and near the theater entrance to the back right of the lobby. They are gender neutral and there are two bathrooms with multiple stalls.

Accessible parking

There are a few accessible street parking spaces around the area but there is no guarantee that they will be available as this neighborhood is a busy area.

Audio Assistance Devices

The theater is equipped with audio assistive devices. Simply as your house manager who can provide you with one.

Large-Print Programs

Ask your house manager for a large-print version of the program (our program is also always available online!).

Script Perusal

If you might find it helpful to read along with the script, ask your house manager for a copy of the script. You'll need to return it afterwards!
