Emotional Resilience: Strategies for coping with business adversity and building stronger workplaces with Jo Edmond.

We understand that being in business and leading through a time of crisis can take its toll on any individual, regardless of how resilient you may be. This 3-hour workshop will introduce business leaders and staff to the theory of Emotional Intelligence (EI) and Resilience, drawing from both Neuroscience and Positive Psychology. We will share techniques that can assist you to flourish in a crisis, and in a world full of uncertainty. We will look at some of the research on how to further grow these concepts within the workplace culture along with understanding the core concepts of both Emotional Intelligence and Resilience. We aim to inspire and create an initial foundation of Emotional Intelligence and resilience, planting seeds in the hope that you will want to further develop these skills into the future. 

Joanne Edmond is a psychologist, wellbeing coach and social entrepreneur. Joanne is the founder of Core Therapy Psychology Services and Co-Director of Core of Well-Being and she has also worked as a lecturer, developed training manuals and delivered quality assurance in both the government and non-government sector for over 26 years. 

Outline of Workshop: 

· You will have an introductory understanding of emotional intelligence and resilience. 

· You will receive insights as to how you can develop your EQ and resilience. 

· You will have a tool kit to help you understand emotions in order to build wellbeing and how you can stay resilient for the long haul. 

· You will be better equipped to plan and make decisions in times of uncertainty and to stay mentally responsive and adaptive to the changes ahead. 

· You will have additional strategies to draw from in your self-care tool kit.
